University Libraries has purchased a button maker for library events. When not used for outreach, the button maker lives in the Student Multimedia Studio. Students are invited to bring in paper designs to cut and make into buttons. Button making supplies are currently free to students.
Equipment
- American Button Machines 2.25" Button Maker
- Graphic Punch Cutter for cutting designs into circle shapes for button making
Software
- Free Google Slides template for assistance in preparing a design for the 2.25" button (Note: Upon following the template link, users will be prompted to "make a copy" of the template in order to customize with their own design.)
Know before you go
- The Button Maker is first come, first served
- If the machine is not at its station in the SMS, it may be in use at a library event at that time
- Button supplies are available for free to current Kent State students
