Undergraduate Jobs
Undergraduate students are employed in many areas of University Libraries (UL). Most students enroll in 12-18 credit hours and find that 10-15 hours per week of work does not interfere with classes. Students are not permitted to work during scheduled, enrolled classes.

Graduate Jobs
Kent State UL employs students from the School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) each semester to work as Graduate Student Assistants (GSAs) in various departments of UL. Graduate students in other departments/schools/colleges can also be considered for employment in the GSA program.

These positions are Student Employment, NOT assistantships (i.e. no fee waiver; no stipend). GSAs are expected to work 12 to 20 hours per week during semesters depending upon the needs of the department in which they are employed. GSAs are encouraged to work during intersessions if they meet the Office of Student Employment Services' requirements and funding is available.

Application Process
Employment applications are available online. A supervisor MAY call you for an interview IF your hours of availability and interests match a current or future vacancy.
