Microsoft Word Web Sites

Another easy way to create a website using a familiar tool.   Only a few minor considerations have to be made concerning how a word document that is saved as a web page handles text wrapping and pictures.  But all that is covered in the following tutorials.

PDF Portfolios

Create a PDF portfolio This is a link to a Portable Document Format (PDF) file of "everything", all the documents, photographs, graphics, video, audio, etc. that you want people to view and package them into a single PDF document. Then upload the PDF Portfolio to your space on the Kent Personal Server (see instructions for uploading and viewing files to the Kent Personal Server at the bottom of this page) to share it with the world.

Publisher Websites

IMPORTANT UPDATE:   Internet Explorer 8 won't display navigation menus created in Publisher. There are "work arounds" but none of them good.  IE 6 & 7 and Firefox still display the navigation menus but because many users are updating to IE8, and until Microsoft resolves this problem, Publisher is no longer recommended as a tool for creating websites.  However, if you don't care... here's some tutorials.
