This collection, dating from 1963-2008, contains the annual reports from the Office of the President at Kent State University. While most of the reports cover a fiscal year, there are some reports that provide an overview of two years, and one that covers a ten year period.

History of the Kent State University President's Annual Reports

The Annual Report from the President's office is a comprehensive look at major events and activities of Kent State University for the given year. According to introductory text in Robert I. White's 1963/64 report, this was the first year the President's office created an annual report. These reports contain high-level summary information about student enrollment, revenues and expenditures, building projects, curricular changes, faculty achievements, events at regional campuses, and other highlights. The reports also serve as promotional outreach for the university.

Scope and Content

This collection includes printed annual reports from the President of Kent State University dating from 1963-2008. There is no report on file from 1970. It is uncertain whether or not a report was published that year.
