| Abstract: | This collection is comprised of Kent State University Faculty/Staff and Student directories from 1931 to 2009. Most of these directories include on-campus addresses for both staff and students as well as telephone numbers in the later editions. In the early student directories there is often mention of the student's hometown, but not full home address. There is also information about sororities, fraternities, and other student organizations. |

Scope and Content
The Kent State University Directories collection includes directories from 1931-2009. There are some gaps in this collection including several years in the 1930s for which there is no directory on file. Also, the collection lacks the directory for the 1998-1999 school year. For multiple years, an addendum is included which indicates the addition and/or subtraction of faculty/staff members or the correction of errors. Some years do not have a student directory, and that will be indicated in the listing for that specific year.
