History of the Faculty Women's Club of Kent State University
The Faculty Women's Club of Kent State University was founded in 1913 and was open to all women members of the faculty and administration as well as women family members of the faculty and administration. Organizational activities included dinners, socials and teas, and administering student loan funds and scholarships. In 1964 the Faculty Wives Club of Kent State University and the Faculty Women's Club of Kent State University merged to form a new organization, the University Women of Kent State University.
