Pickup Options at Kent Campus University Library

How may I pickup items I request?

There are three options to pickup materials you request from Kent State University Libraries:

  • In-Person

    • What is "In-Person Pickup"?
Pick up your items at the Circulation Desk at your earliest convenience.

  • Grab and Go

    • What is "Grab and Go"?
Contactless service where your items will be checked out and set aside on a shelf for you to pick up.
    • How does "Grab and Go" work?

  • Curbside Pickup

What items can I request?

You can request items in Kent State University Libraries’ regular circulating collection. This includes many books and DVDs from our Kent campus, branch, and regional campus libraries. Additionally, items from OhioLINK and SearchOhio member libraries are also available.

Please note that reserve items and equipment are only available for in person pickup.

How long will it take to get my items?

We aim to process requests as fast as possible. Requests for items at campuses other than your own will take time to transport from location to location as will items from branch locations (Architecture, Fashion, Map, and Performing Arts libraries).
