This new exhibit is now available for viewing in the Marovitz Gallery on the first floor of the University Library Building. The large ledger books on display were used to document book purchases during the earliest years of the Kent State Library’s history. This method was followed from 1913 to 1955, filling thirteen volumes.

At first glance, these records may not seem very interesting. But, when we take a closer look, patterns and stories begin to emerge from the pages. The idea of this exhibit is to share some of these stories.
