Job Responsibilities:

• Creates and manages metadata and cataloging for multiple resource types for KSU libraries (main, branch, and regional libraries)
• Develops training materials and documentation for library personnel in the application of metadata and cataloging standards, authority control, and cataloging policy and procedures
  • Trains iSchool graduate student assistants and internship students in cataloging
• Provides training nationally in NACO work (creating name authority records) and coordinates the NACO Ohio Funnel Project
• Serves as a University Libraries representative to the International Student and Scholar Integration Committee (ISSIC) 

RESEARCH AND PRESENTATION INTERESTS:

• RDA (Resource Description and Access)
• Cataloging ETDs (electronic theses and dissertations) 
• Creating name authority records (NARs) and NACO  
• Cataloging in public libraries
