OhioLINK Courier Announcement

Dear Kent State Students, Staff and Faculty,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the state of Ohio will be transitioning to a new courier service for book deliveries between Ohio colleges and universities.

This transition will require a pause in statewide print lending.

Requests for print materials through the OhioLINK Central Catalog will pause on Friday, March 11, 2022.

Requests can still be made until this time, but you will not be able to make new requests after this date. Requests will remain paused through at least the end of April 2022.

This change only applies to print materials. All digital/online OhioLINK content will remain available.

Because Kent State University Libraries and OhioLINK libraries share this statewide delivery service with 350 public library locations (which account for 2/3 of delivery activity), this change could not be scheduled to better align with our academic calendar.
