Research support showcase highlights services, tools for faculty

Kent State University Libraries presented a Research Support Showcase on April 22, 2021, providing an overview of the many research support services available to the university’s faculty. The event, which was held virtually, was co-sponsored by Research and Sponsored Programs.

Attendees heard presentations by University Libraries’ faculty and staff as they discussed the benefits of offered services and tools that are designed to further scholarly research. The topics included data management planning; data visualization; researcher identity support; statistical consulting software and analysis; the libraries’ institutional repository; copyright and publishing support; innovation novelty and patent protection; and recently published research.
