Please join us for the dedication of the Alan Canfora Collection, donated by the Canfora family to Kent State University Libraries' Special Collections and Archives.

During his journey to better understand what occurred on May 4, 1970, and its aftermath, Alan Canfora, a survivor of the shootings, amassed the largest-known private collection of May 4 documents and materials. The dedication program will include words from Kent State President Todd Diacon, Chic Canfora and University Libraries leadership. Select items from the Alan Canfora Collection will be on exhibit.

A reception will follow the dedication program. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
