Come to University Library's first floor and chat with Cindy Kristof, our copyright and scholarly communication librarian, for an explanation on fair use and how it can be used for effective research papers and creative projects. Stop by and pick up a taco-themed sticker, magnet or toy to remind you to incorporate fair use into your next assignment.

February 23 – 27 is Fair Use Week. This annual observation is an opportunity to promote, celebrate and educate our campus community on the section of the United States Copyright Law that allows the limited use of copyrighted works under certain conditions without first obtaining permission from the copyright holder.
