If you wish to print electronic reserve materials at the Main Campus, you will need the Kent State University Campus I.D. called the FLASHCard. Monies can be added to the FLASHCard in different ways. However, the Main Library has a machine, which you may use to add monies to the card. The machine is located at the Library's main entrance across from the Circulation Desk. Or you may call the FLASHCard office This is a link to another web site at (330) 672-CARD [2273] for more information.

    • Circulation Desk on first floor
    • Reference Department on first floor
    • Computer Lab on first floor
    • Periodical Information on the second floor

  4. Troubleshooting Printing With Adobe Acrobat

Some users may have problems printing PDF materials, especially if the printed material appears patchy with alternating stripes of empty space instead of solid text or images on the page. This is most likely to occur on pages with a landscape layout which have been rotated a quarter turn to make on-screen reading easier. To correct this printing problem, select the "Print As Image" option in the Adobe Acrobat Reader print window.

If you are still having difficulty printing the materials, please contact Judy S. Midamba, Reserve Services Supervisor at 330-672-7906 during office hours.

Following are images from the Adobe Acrobat 4 Reader and the Adobe Acrobat 5 Reader, showing where to click to activate the "Print As Image" option.
