How long will it take to get my items?

We aim to process requests as fast as possible. Requests for items at campuses other than your own will take time to transport from location to location as will items from branch locations (Architecture, Fashion, Map, and Performing Arts libraries).

What is Curbside Pickup?

Curbside Pickup @ University Library allows you to check out materials via a contactless service at the Kent campus.

How does it work?

  • Browse our LIBRARYsearch catalog and request your item(s).
  • Choose Kent Main Library when requesting items.
  • You will be notified via email when the item(s) are ready to be picked up  You will also be reminded again to pick up your hold 5 days before the hold expires
  • Park behind the Library in the designated Curbside Pickup parking spot and call the Library Services Desk at 330-672-3456.
  • We will then bring you your items and confirm your pickup by seeing your Flashcard or a photo ID.

Please note that only reserve items and equipment are available for in-person pickup.
