Classroom Equipment Requests

Over 100 rooms on campus are fully equipped for classroom instruction and presentations.  Access and instructions to installed equipment can be obtained by contacting Educational Technology and Distributed Learning at 2-1839 prior to your class.  For those rooms that are NOT fully equipped, Audio Visual Services can provide Laptop Computers, Video Computer Projectors, Television Monitors, Transparency Projectors and DVD & VHS Players with advance notice.


Borrowing Policies Regarding Equipment

Instructors may request equipment On-line This is a link to another web site or by contacting the classroom services counter at (330) 672-3456.  Please note Audio Visual Services requires equipment to be requested at least 24 hours in advance and will need the following information when requesting equipment:

  • Day or days is which equipment is requested.  Equipment may be requested for each class for entire semester.
  • Start and end time of class - please DO NOT add additional time as this may delay your equipment.  Our delivery technicians attempt to do set-ups during the 15 minutes between classes and when additional time is added to the beginning of class, they often find a class is session and they will move to the next set up.
  • Building & room number where equipment is being used.
  • Name, department and phone number of requestor

Audio Visual Services will deliver and set up equipment for classroom instruction.

Students in need of audiovisual equipment for classroom use, i.e. for a presentation, must notify instructor and the instructor must make the requests through AVS.
