This site provides digital copies of 113 maps of Africa dating from the mid 16th to early 20th century. Included are thumbnail jpeg images with features such as zoom, pan, rotate, fit to window, and print. A descriptive bibliographic record accompanies each image.

This site is the web portal of the Southern Africa Humanitarian Information Management Network. Features include atlases and a GIS Map Library. Indicator maps are available covering topics such as poverty, disease, etc. Selection options include; regional, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
