STEP #12: The Microsoft Excel (DBF) data file will appear in the large left box under File Name:

STEP #13: Click once on the Excel data file and then select the OK button.

STEP #14: The DBF file will be added to the Untitled Table file and a third dialog box will now appear. This contains the Excel DBF file of the Census Tract data.

STEP #15: Go back and click on the View 1 box to access the map data, along with the top taskbar for ArcView.

STEP #16: Scan the mouse arrow across the symbols on the top task bar, stopping at the symbol for Open Theme Table. Click once on this icon.
