Kent State University's Libraries and Media Services Web site is located at http://www.library.kent.edu . From the Library homepage, you can click on the Locations tab link and then click Branch Libraries. From there you can click on a link to access the June F. Mohler Fashion Library main page. If you want to go directly to the main page for the June F. Mohler Fashion Library, the URL is http://www.library.kent.edu/fashion_home.

How do I check my library record online?

Go to https://kentlink.kent.edu/patroninfo to check your library record.

How do I renew my library books?

To renew your library books, you will view your KentLINK record at https://kentlink.kent.edu/patroninfo . Directions can be found here: http://www.library.kent.edu/access/circ.html#howtorenew .

How do I find books in KentLINK and OhioLINK?

You can access KentLINK at http://kentlink.kent.edu/ . When using KentLINK, you can extend your search to OhioLINK by clicking on the blue button (near the top of the screen) that says OHIOLINK CENTRAL.

When searching an online catalog (sometimes called an OPAC, or Online Public Access Catalog) for books on a certain topic, it is usually a good idea to start with a Keyword search. Once you have found a catalog record for an appropriate item, you can click on a Subject listed to search by Subject.

How do I request books from other libraries?

When using KentLINK, you can extend your search to OhioLINK by clicking on the blue button (near the top of the screen) that says OHIOLINK CENTRAL. To request a book from OhioLINK, click on the REQUEST THIS ITEM Link displayed in the OhioLINK record for the item and provide the requested information. You can have the OhioLINK item delivered to any Kent State University library. You can learn more about OhioLINK here: http://www.ohiolink.edu/about/ .

How are books arranged in the Fashion Library?

Our books are arranged according to Library of Congress Classification. This means that they are arranged by classification, using call numbers that are alphanumeric (a combination of letters and numbers). Some books are in the Restricted Collections. Others are in the stacks arranged by LC Call Number. Reference materials are in the first row and are arranged by LC Call Number. The oversized items are arranged by LC Call Number in the last aisle of the library.
