Fashion Library Collections
The June F. Mohler Fashion Library is the primary repository at Kent State University for printed materials on the history of mid-Twentieth Century fashion, the apparel industry, fashion retailing, fashion accessories, and fashion design. The collection includes approximately 3,500 book, about 50 current periodical titles, and over 300 videos. In addition to these resources, one may peruse color microfiche from several historically significant costume collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Fashion Institute of Technology. Fashion forecasting publications, complete with fabric swatches and color palettes are available, as well as recorded interviews with notables in the Fashion World. The Library cooperates with the Kent State University Museum
