What about theses and dissertations?

Generally, ILL can obtain loans from the institution that granted the degree. Frequently, these are loaned to us in microform format.

If our borrowing request is denied, unbound, shrink-wrapped copies of dissertations published in English can almost always be purchased online from Proquest for $41.  Some dissertations also may be purchased in electronic format (PDF) for $30.  Selected Kent State University dissertations may be downloaded electronically free of charge.  Please see ProQuest Dissertations & Theses This is a link to another web site for futher information.
