Frequently Asked Questions
1. What are your hours?
We are open year-round (except for university-wide holiday closings),
Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
2. Do you employ students in the Communications Office?
Yes, we employ 1-2 student assistants each semester. If you are a student enrolled at Kent State University and are interested in working here in between classes, you may fill out an application in the Dean's Office of University Libraries on the third floor of the building or online. Designate on the application that you would be interested in working in "Graphics." Read about the job responsibilities and qualifications by clicking on "Graphics." Someone will contact you for an interview when a position opens up.
3. Does the Communications Office offer any of the services that Design Solutions used to?
Unfortunately, no. We no longer provide services to non-University Libraries clients. Here are two of our recommended vendors. We have worked with them for a few years and they are very familiar with KSU colors and specifications.
