Biographical Sketch

American poet and writer Larry Eigner was born August 7, 1927 in Swampscott, Massachusetts, and died February 3, 1996. He published many small press books throughout his career, including: On my Eyes, 1960; Another Time in Fragments, 1967; Selected Poems, 1972; and Things Stirring Together or Far Away, 1974. Eigner's poetry was widely admired by other poets, including William Carlos Williams and Robert Duncan.

Scope and Content

This collection consists of several poems and letters written by Larry Eigner. Most poems are titled by their first line. Materials are arranged by date.
