NYPL Digital Gallery: Charting North America
The New York Public Library provide over 1,000 maps of North America from the earliest printed portrayals to the close of the 19th century; multiple versions and editions allow for historical comparisons, all from a generous donation by Lawrence H. Slaughter. Users can select from sections of maps of North America, New York City, Virginia and diverse others. Maps viewable in pop-up windows and may be enlarged and zoomed-in on for finer details.
