"The Children's Book Council, Inc. is the nonprofit trade association of publishers and packagers of trade books and related materials for children and young adults." Upon entering this site one can learn more about the CBC, go to the CBC online store, and become a member. This site is great for getting children active by not only providing reading lists but also having events like the "Young People's Poetry Week."
