Job Responsibilities:
- Organizes department wide projects
- Manages the creation or alteration of various forms used in the department
- Composes day to day assignments for student assistants
- Coordinates student scheduling in the stacks department
- Oversees student workers and assists in maintaining the tower
- Trains new students to become student assistants
- Transitions student assistants into student supervisor positions
- Assists with implementation of new security features for day and night shifts
- Gathers statistics on student productivity, patron and material usage, as well as material sent to other departments
- Checks out books to patrons
- Directs patrons and delivery carriers to proper department
- Answers tech help issues
