Biographical Note

Virginia Glenn was born May 3, 1931 in Ottumwa, Iowa. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1958 and then attended Iowa City College for two years. She settled in New York in 1962.

Called "the midwife of the human potential movement," Glenn was interested in parapsychology, psychic research, astrology, spiritual healing and magic. She organized a number of seminars and lectures in the fields of psychology and parapsycholgy both of which are included in the human potential rubric.

Glenn died on July 4, 1970.
