Scope and Content

This collection contains recordings (CD copies transferred from reel-to-reel tapes) of selected portions of a Kent State University oral history project undertaken in the 1960s. The project, which intended to gather oral histories about the history of Kent State University from faculty and other staff members, was begun in the early 1960s by Professor William Taylor. The project was later coordinated by Dr. Walton Clark followed by Dr. John Weiser, who donated this collection of tapes to Special Collections and Archives.
