Click the red arrow for the Rows Menu.
Choose Row Selection. Notice there are a number of means for selecting rows (cases). For this example, we will choose "Select Where".
Choose the variable. Choose the command (in this case "equals") and type in the value used to select the cases. Click OK.
The rows have been selected. In this case, females are coded "1".
In order to exclude females from subsequent analyses, click on the Row's menu. Click Excelude/Unexclude.
Note the red symbols in the rows to be excluded. To include all rows, simply click again on the Row's menu and again choose Exclude/Unexclude.
