NVivo Coding Query Screenshots Tutorial

Coding Query -- allows you to find content based on its coding. A simple coding query lets you see content coded at a node limited by a specific scope

Click on the Queries Menu. Right click in the white space. Click New Query -- Coding.

If you wish to save your query, click Add to Project. Click Node -- Select to choose the Node you wish to search.

Select the Node of interest, click O.K.

Click Any Cases Where. Choose the Attribute of interest.

Click on how you want the query displayed. In this case, we will Create Results in a New Set.

Provide the Set a Name and Description.

There are advanced options as well. Click Run.

Click O.K.

Note that all newspaper articles coded with the Contrast node are now in a set entitled "Depression_Sim_News".
