International Index to Black Periodicals
Content of this resource is from more than 150 international scholarly and popular periodicals in Black Studies and contains full-text coverage of 40 core Black Studies periodicals. This database is interdisciplinary and includes art, cultural criticism, economics, education, health, history, language and literature, law, philosophy, politics, religion, and sociology.

Subsection of the Aluka online digital library of scholarly resources from and about Africa. Focuses on high-quality visual, contextual, and spatial documentation of African heritage sites.

Contains the full-text of nearly 3,000 poems written between 1760 and 1900.

Aluka
An online digital library of scholarly resources from and about Africa, Aluka includes a wide variety of high-quality scholarly materials ranging from archival documents, periodicals, books, reports, manuscripts, and reference works, to three-dimensional models, maps, oral histories, plant specimens, photographs, and slides. One of the site's primary objectives is to provide African scholars and students with access to scholarly materials originally from Africa.

America: History and Life (1960 - Current)
Provides a complete bibliographic reference to the history of the United States and Canada from prehistory to the present.

Anthropology Plus
Anthropology Plus combines the Anthropological Literature (from Harvard University) with the Anthropological Index (from the Royal Anthropological Institute). Gives extensive worldwide indexing of journal articles, reports, commentaries, edited works, and obituaries in the fields of social, cultural, physical, biological, and linguistic anthropology, ethnology, archaeology, folklore, material culture, and interdisciplinary studies. Coverage is from the late 19th century to the present.

AP Images
Contains approximately 500,000 photos and selections of pictures from the AP image and print negative library. Pictures cover local, state, national and international subjects. (Formerly AccuNet/AP Multimedia Archive.)

Book Review Digest Plus (1905 - Current)
Information on book reviews. Gives citations and some full text of reviews for more than 550,000 books of adult and juvenile fiction and non-fiction.

Clase and Periodica (1975 - Current)
An interdisciplinary index of articles, essays, book reviews, conference proceedings, technical reports, and more published in 2600 journals edited in 24 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as from publications that focus on Pan American issues. CLASE indexes documents published in Latin American journals specializing in the social sciences and the humanities. PERIODICA covers journals specializing in science and technology. Languages covered include Spanish, Portuguese, French and English.

Contemporary Black Biography (1992 - Current)
Includes biographical profiles of prominent members of the international Black community.

eHRAF World Cultures
A systematically organized collection of thousands of full-text books and articles on cultures from all regions of the world; provides information on particular cultures, ethnic groups, or immigrant groups, their beliefs and superstitions, or subjects such as political structure, architecture, kinship units, or settlement patterns. The information is organized by cultures and ethnic groups.

Europa World
The online version of Europa World Year Book. Provides an excellent overview of countries, including recent history, government structure and statistical information.

European views of the Americas, 1493-1750
An index to European works relating to the Americas, which were written prior to 1750. The database is based on “European Americana: A Chronological Guide to Works Printed In Europe Relating to The Americas, 1493-1750.”

Facts on File World News Digest (1940 - Current)
World News Digest brings together and enhances nearly seven decades of news from the renowned Facts On File World News Digest in print. This archival record of domestic and international news is updated weekly and contains more than 1 million internal hyperlinks and convenient new features such as tabbed search results. It covers all major political, social, and economic events since November 1940. This publication of record is unrivaled for its depth, breadth, and accuracy.

Contains references about the history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding the United States and Canada, which are covered in America: History and Life).
