Requesting Items in KentLINK
KentLINK is the library catalog for all 8 campuses of the University. It identifies what books, journals, government publications, and media (computer files, films, CDs, etc.) are owned by KSU and indicates their availability.
The OhioLINK Library catalog identifies all books and other materials owned by the 85 public and private colleges and universities that are OhioLINK member libraries. For any item not available through KentLINK, it is possible to request the item online and have it sent to any KSU library or other OhioLINK institution for pick up.
- Identify the item you wish to borrow in KentLINK

- Click on the "Request" button at the top of the page.
- Type your Flashline username and password.
- Choose your pick-up location (see below)
- Click on the "Submit" button.
KentLINK and OhioLINK items may be picked up at the following campus locations:
Main Library  One Eastway Drive 330-672-3150 (This location has the quickest turn-around time for making requests available for pick-up - Allow 2 business days.)
Architechture Library  Taylor Hall, Room 309 330-672-2876 (This is the closest location to the Music & Speech Center. Allow 3 business days for requests to be made available at this location.)
Chemistry/Physics Library  Williams Hall, Room 312 330-672-2532
Fashion Library  Rockwell Hall, Room 131 330-672-9500
