Installing NVivo 8

To install on Windows XP, you must be logged on with administrator privileges. Also, you should disable any anti-virus software during the install. Uninstall any previous versions of NVIVO. Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. The AutoPlay feature will present a menu. To run the Setup program, follow the instructions that appear on the screen. Use the License Key in your disk's liner notes when prompted for this information during the installation.

Insert Disk.

Read the License Agreement. Click "I accept the terms of the license agreement" (if you do indeed accept the terms). Then click Next.

Type in License Key included in the Liner Notes when you purchased the disk from KSU AV department. Click Next.

Click Next.

NVivoSelectProgramFolder

Click Next.

NVivoDesktopShortcuts

Choose the Desktop Shortcuts you would like to install and Click Next.

NVivoLanguage

Select Language and Click Next.

Review Current Settings.

Click Next.

Click Finish.

Click Activate Now.

Fill in the required information.

Click Activate.
