If you have used the Kent State proxy server to access online resources, library research databases, and e-journals over the years, a change is coming. The proxy service is being replaced by the VPN. The proxy is being retired on July 1st, 2008. It is very important to both remove the proxy settings from your web browser and set up VPN access to continue to use online resources from off-campus. |

Managing the ski shop comes with a whole host of responsibilities that involve more than just satisfying patrons. "Beyond working with customers," explains Bernard, "I'm a soft-goods buyer for the shop. So I spend a lot of time making inventory decisions." |

Once the interstate highway system was in place, franchises such as the Sheraton hotel chain expanded. It was then that serving people became a professional endeavor. "The industry became much more corporate, and therefore much more lucrative," says Pauze. "There is a need for professionals who can organize and accommodate all that business." |
