Comprehensive interdisciplinary engineering database, with abstracts from over 5,000 international journals, conference papers and proceedings, and technical reports. Includes links to full-text. Updated weekly.

e-ROS: Encyclopedia of Reagents for Organic Synthesis
e-EROS offers systematic and exhaustive coverage of reagents used in organic synthesis. Classical reagents, new "designer" reagents and catalysts are included. Search by CAS numbers or InChI’s or InChI Keys, authors with full-text links to their articles, keywords and phrases, reagent or reaction name, citation information, or structure, and more.

Contains bibliographic records for energy and energy-related scientific and technical information from the Department of Energy (DOE) and its predecessor agencies, the Energy Research & Development Administration (ERDA) and the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). Includes bibliographic records of literature in disciplines of interest to DOE such as chemistry, physics, materials, environmental science, geology, engineering, mathematics, climatology, oceanography, computer science and related disciplines. Provides access to the world's scientific and technical literature in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, communications, control engineering, computers and computing, and information technology; also has significant coverage in areas such as materials science, aeronautics, oceanography, nuclear engineering, geophysics, biomedical engineering and biophysics. Searches Physics Abstracts and more.

Inspec Archive (1898 - 1968)
All aspects of physics (originally published as Physics Abstracts), Electrical and electronic engineering (introduced as a separate journal in 1903, and originally published as Electrical and Electronic Abstracts), Computing and control engineering (introduced as a separate journal in 1966, and published initially as Control Abstracts, later renamed to Computer and Control Abstracts). Also known as "Electronic Access to Science Abstracts Journals 1898-1968".

A standard handbook with methods and techniques for studying enzymes. DNA, RNA, biophysical, biochemical and biotechnological topics are also included.

Science Citation Index Expanded (1980 - Current)
This "Web of Science" database covers the journal literature of the sciences. It indexes more than 5,700 major journals across 164 scientific disciplines, with all cited references captured. Updated weekly.
Tutorial

SciFinder Scholar
Meta database Patent and Journal References from all scientific disciplines, Substance information, Chemical reactions, Regulated chemicals information, Commercially available substances. Searches simultaneously the following sources: Chemical AbstractsPlus; CAS REGISTRY; CHEMLIST; CHEMCATS -Online Chemical Catalogs File, MEDLINE and OLDMEDLINE 1958- present. Chemical Structure searches are limited to exact matches of a drawn structure as well as structure with substitution at open positions on the drawn structure.

Scopus (1996 - Current)
Scopus is a database that gives author and journal ranking analysis. It works in a similar way to ISI Web of Science and its Citation Indexes. While Scopus does cover many journals that ISI does not, the strongest coverage in the sciences. Scopus uses its H index as a measure of citations for journals and authors.

Dissertation Abstracts (ProQuest Dissertations & Theses) (1861 - Current)
Includes citations for dissertations dating from the first U.S. dissertation issued in 1861. Contains abstracts for dissertations from 1980 to the present and for master's theses from 1988 forward. The work of authors from over 1,000 North American graduate schools and European universities are also included. Titles published since 1997 are available in PDF digital format and have 24 page previews available.

Created by the American Mathematical Society, the MSC is used to categorize items covered by the two reviewing databases, Mathematical Reviews (MR) and Zentralblatt MATH (Zbl).
