Comprehensive interdisciplinary engineering database, with abstracts from over 5,000 international journals, conference papers and proceedings, and technical reports. Includes links to full-text. Updated weekly.

Compendex Historical (1884 - 1968)
Index and abstracts to engineering literature published from 1884-1968.

Energy Citations Database (1948 - Current)
Contains bibliographic records for energy and energy-related scientific and technical information from the Department of Energy (DOE) and its predecessor agencies, the Energy Research & Development Administration (ERDA) and the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). Includes bibliographic records of literature in disciplines of interest to DOE such as chemistry, physics, materials, environmental science, geology, engineering, mathematics, climatology, oceanography, computer science and related disciplines. It includes citations to report literature, conference papers, journal articles, books, dissertations, and patents.

Inspec (1969 - Current)
Provides access to the world's scientific and technical literature in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, communications, control engineering, computers and computing, and information technology; also has significant coverage in areas such as materials science, aeronautics, oceanography, nuclear engineering, geophysics, biomedical engineering and biophysics. Searches Physics Abstracts and more.

Inspec Archive (1898 - 1968)
All aspects of physics (originally published as Physics Abstracts), Electrical and electronic engineering (introduced as a separate journal in 1903, and originally published as Electrical and Electronic Abstracts), Computing and control engineering (introduced as a separate journal in 1966, and published initially as Control Abstracts, later renamed to Computer and Control Abstracts). Also known as "Electronic Access to Science Abstracts Journals 1898-1968".

Science Citation Index Expanded (1980 - Current)
This "Web of Science" database covers the journal literature of the sciences. It indexes more than 5,700 major journals across 164 scientific disciplines, with all cited references captured. Updated weekly.

Meta database Patent and Journal References from all scientific disciplines, Substance information, Chemical reactions, Regulated chemicals information, Commercially available substances. Searches simultaneously the following sources: Chemical AbstractsPlus; CAS REGISTRY; CHEMLIST; CHEMCATS -Online Chemical Catalogs File, MEDLINE and OLDMEDLINE 1958- present. Chemical Structure searches are limited to exact matches of a drawn structure as well as structure with substitution at open positions on the drawn structure.

Created by the American Mathematical Society, the MSC is used to categorize items covered by the two reviewing databases, Mathematical Reviews (MR) and Zentralblatt MATH (Zbl). The MSC is broken down into over 5,000 two-, three-, and five-digit classfications, each corresponding to a discipline of mathematics.
