Beilstein Crossfire with Abstracts
Available at Chemistry/Physics Library only
The CrossFire search database links structure, reaction, text and numeric data in the Beilstein and Gmelin databases. Beilstein database contains information on more than 8 million organic compounds and associated chemical and physical properties and 5 million chemical reactions. There are more than 35 million chemical property and bioactivity records arranged in some 300 searchable fields. The Gmelin database covers more than 1.4 million organometallic and inorganic compounds.

Includes citations for dissertations dating from the first U.S. dissertation issued in 1861. Contains abstracts for dissertations from 1980 to the present and for master's theses from 1988 forward. The work of authors from over 1,000 North American graduate schools and European universities are also included. Titles published since 1997 are available in PDF digital format and have 24 page previews available.

Encyclopedia of Physics Demonstrations (video clips)
Each of the 600 demonstrations is concisely produced and narrated, each stands alone and illustrates a particular principle of physics. The demonstrations are augmented by slow-motion photography and animation. PubMed provides free, worldwide access to MEDLINE. New records are added to PREMEDLINE daily.
Royal Society of Chemistry Journals Archive (1841 - 2004)

Virtual Journals in Science and Technology
Each of the virtual journals included presents an online collection of relevant papers from a broad range of "source" journals in the physical sciences. Full-text freely available for those journals to which Kent State University Libraries and Media Services subscribes.
