Classroom Equipment

Borrowing Policies Regarding Equipment

Instructors may request equipment On-line or by contacting the classroom services counter at (330) 672-3456.  Please note Audio Visual Services requires equipment to be requested at least 24 hours in advance and will need the following information when requesting equipment:

  • Day or days is which equipment is requested.  Equipment may be requested for each class for entire semester.
  • Start and end time of class - please DO NOT add additional time as this may delay your equipment.  Our delivery technicians attempt to do set-ups during the 15 minutes between classes and when additional time is added to the beginning of class, they often find a class is session and they will move to the next set up.
  • Building & room number where equipment is being used.
  • Name, department and phone number of requestor

Audio Visual Services will deliver and set up equipment for classroom instruction.

Students that need audiovisual equipment for use in a classroom, i.e. for a presentation, must request the equipment via their instructor. In other words only an instructor may request equipment to be delivered and set up in a classroom for student use.

Students may check out video cameras, tripods, digital cameras and other equipment for use in support of class projects. Students are required to pick up and return the equipment. Reservations should be made in advance. Due dates and times are strictly enforced due to the high use of this equipment. Fines are levied when equipment is returned late. To make an equipment reservation please call (330)-672-3456 or stop by the counter in AVS on the third floor of the Library.
