Finding tests and assessment tools in the ERIC research database:

ERIC can be used to:

  • Identify tests
  • Find descriptions, reviews, and/or applications of tests
  • Possibly identify test publisher/location information
  • Possibly access a copy of a test of interest

  • Search by: topic [Keywords in Thesaurus] AND
    Limit to: “Tests/Questionnaires” [Publication Types]
    Limit to: “Assessment and Evaluation” [Clearinghouses]

ERIC (EBSCO) (1966 - Current)
ERIC is a useful database for finding educational information from lots of different sources (journals, magazines, books, conferences, and governmental agencies). It contains resources dating back to 1966 and is helpful when conducting historical research in education.
