Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD)
The CLCD offers more than 220,000 reviews of children’s books, multimedia, and audio books. The reviews are from more than 34 sources, some of which include The ALAN Review, Booklist, The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books, CCBC Choices, The Five Owls, The Horn Book Magazine--Audio Reviews, The Horn Book Guide, Inis, KIRKUS Reviews, KLIATT, Library Media Connections, Resource Links, and VOYA.

Education Abstracts (1983 - Current)
Includes over 500 international periodicals, yearbooks, and book series in education addressing a wide variety of topics. Updated monthly.

Education Research Complete
Education Research Complete is a database covering scholarly research and information relating to all areas of education. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,500 journals, as well as full text for more than 750 journals. Also included is full text for more than 100 books and monographs, and full text for numerous education-related conference papers.

ERIC (1966 - Current)
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, it consists of over 900,000 citations from journals, reports, and other sources spanning the entire field of education and related areas. Updated monthly.

Health Source (nursing/academic edition)
Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition provides nearly 590 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Also featured are abstracts and indexing for over 627 journals. This database is updated on a daily basis.

Collection of over 50 research databases including over 20 EBSCO databases, Britannica Online School Edition, Literature Online and more. Also access INFOhio's library catalog to over 2,000 K-12 schools and the INFOhio Medianet collection to over 130 digital videos. Please contact the education liaison librarian or email library@kent.edu for information about accessing the collection from off-site. Off-site access is available to College of Education students and faculty only.

JSTOR
JSTOR is an electronic archive of complete journal backruns, current to within 2 to 5 years. The collections include: Arts & Sciences I, Arts & Sciences II, Business Collection, Ecology & Botany, General Science, and Language and Literature. For Kent State University, students and faculty now have access to 381 JSTOR journals representing over 2 million articles.

Dissertation Abstracts (ProQuest Dissertations & Theses) (1861 - Current)
Includes citations for dissertations dating from the first U.S. dissertation issued in 1861. Contains abstracts for dissertations from 1980 to the present and for master's theses from 1988 forward. The work of authors from over 1,000 North American graduate schools and European universities are also included. Titles published since 1997 are available in PDF digital format and have 24 page previews available.

Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HAPI) (1985 - Current)
Provides information about articles on questionnaires, interview schedules, checklists, index measures, coding schemes and manuals, rating scales and other measurement instruments in the fields of health, psychosocial sciences, organizational behavior, and library and information science.

LexisNexis Academic
Contains the full-text of newspapers for the past 20 years, federal and state case law and legislative materials, law reviews, company news and financial information, medical and health information, general information sources and much more. Updates and coverage vary by section.

Mental Measurements Yearbook
Contains full-text information about and reviews of all English-language standardized tests covering educational skills, personality, vocational aptitude, psychology, and related areas as included in the printed Mental Measurements Yearbooks. *Note: This resource is now accessed as an EBSCO database, and as such is searched using the EBSCO user interface.

Vocational & Career Collection is designed for vocational and technical libraries servicing high schools, community colleges, trade institutions and public libraries. The collection provides full text coverage for 350 trade and industry related periodicals.

A colorful, easy-to-use search interface for elementary and middle school students in grades K-8. Lexile limiters allow searchers to specify the reading level of materials retrieved.
