Meta database Patent and Journal References from all scientific disciplines, Substance information, Chemical reactions, Regulated chemicals information, Commercially available substances. Searches simultaneously the following sources: Chemical AbstractsPlus; CAS REGISTRY; CHEMLIST; CHEMCATS -Online Chemical Catalogs File, MEDLINE and OLDMEDLINE 1958- present. Chemical Structure searches are limited to exact matches of a drawn structure as well as structure with substitution at open positions on the drawn structure.
NOTE: SciFinder Scholar is located in the CD-ROM folder found in the start menu of the public work stations. Databases Included in SciFinder Scholar
Search the entire Chemical Abstracts database from 1907 - present. Chemical substance information is available back to 1967. For substance information prior to 1967, use Beilstein Crossfire. SciFinder Scholar is available from 02:00 Sunday to 18:00 Saturday. The KSU subscription now includes two simultaneous seats with 24-hour access (no substructure searching is available). CASREACT - Chemical Reactions Database (1840 - Current)
Includes more than more than 8 million single- and multi-step reactions and more than more than 472,000 records from journal articles and patents with reaction information.
CHEMCATS - Online Chemical Catalogs File
Contains current information on commercially available chemicals and their worldwide suppliers.

CHEMLIST - Regulated Chemicals Listing Database
Contains regulatory information from Australia, Canada, Europe, Israel, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United States. Coverage varies.
MEDLINE (1966 - present) and OLDMEDLINE (1953-1965) More than 12 million citations from over 3900 journals published in over 70 countries. Includes structure diagrams, registry numbers, names, molecular formulas, biosequence data, and more.
