Customer Service Functions in Media Services

Student Multimedia Studio

A computer lab where students can produce web sites, interactive multimedia, digital video programs, and other new technology-based forms of communication.

Instructional Graphics

Produces a wide range of instructional and presentation materials, including research posters, special event displays, signs and banners, large prints, overhead transparencies, computer generated slides, and name tags; and offers studio photography.

Equipment Services

Designs and installs classroom instructional technology systems, delivers media and equipment to classrooms, maintains equipment, provides public address services, and supports special events with a variety of presentation equipment.

Classroom Services

Schedules media and equipment for classroom instruction, offers audio tape exchange program, services copy machine card problems, and offers self-instruction area for viewing and listening to instructional media programs.

Photocopy/Copy Center

Provides public photocopy machines for all libraries. Provides a full range of copy services, including large volume work, binding, color copies, folding, and the production of course packets.

Copyright Clearance Service

Obtains copyright clearance for materials used course packets, library reserves, and distributed learning and multimedia programs.

Video Production

Produces professional level video programs through script writing, graphics, video production, and post production editing. Creates programs for instruction, University advancement, and for NETO, PBS channels 45/49.

Operations & Engineering

Supports video production activities, designs, installs and maintains video systems. Duplicates video programs and performs international standard conversions. Supports special events with a variety of video services.
