Copyright Clearance Services

Welcome to the Copyright Clearance Services (CCS) Home Page. Our goal is to assist you in obtaining permissions to use copyrighted works, as well as helping you understand the laws and guidelines for the use of copyrighted works in educational settings.

CCS is responsible for clearing copyrighted works for the University at large. We strive to make the University community aware of copyright issues. Whether you are writing a journal article, authoring a book, making a course packet, or placing items on reserve or on WebCT, we can help keep your work legal.

We are located in room 181, on the first floor of the Main Library, adjacent to the Quiet Study Area.  For more information, please contact us at 330-672-1845 or use our Email a Librarian Form This is a link to another web site.
