Child Development is a multidisciplinary (many subjects) area of study. When thinking about your research, don't forget to include elements of children or infants in the following areas (check databases for articles in these areas as well!):

Education, Human Development and Family Studies, Medicine/Health, Psychology, and Sociology

When searching for literature, you may need to include an age group (birth to 1 year or infant) with your area of interest. Check the database to see if you can limit by age group. Also, search in more than one database for different perspectives on your topic.
