University Libraries is committed to: 

Providing services responsive to the information and multimedia needs of the University community, 

Educating students to be information literate and ethical users of information, 

Fostering learning and scholarship by developing and providing access to collections and sharing these collections with the global academic community,

Promoting learning and inquiry by providing optimum physical and online environments,

Facilitating the University community’s exploration of differences and participation in a diverse global society through collections, spaces, and services,

Contributing to the development of a responsive information environment through participation and leadership in academic consortia and professional groups,

Supporting the eight-campus system through collaboration with the regional campus libraries,

Advancing the scholarship of librarianship through research and professional contributions.
