What types of materials are difficult to obtain?

Be aware that the following types of materials may be difficult to obtain through ILL. However, please place your request(s); we will try our best to obtain them for you.

• Reference materials, such as dictionaries and encyclopedias
• Audiovisual materials, such as videos, CD's, and DVD's
• Recent bestsellers
• Books featured on TV talk shows
• Controversial materials (occult themes, erotica, etc.)
• Entire journal issues or volumes
• Journals that began publication only recently
• Old, rare, or fragile materials
• Genealogy materials
• Materials held in Rare Books or Special Collections departments
