Abstract: The collection contains records pertaining to the Kent State University Trumbull Campus including subject files, publications, and reports.


History of Kent State University Trumbull Campus: Kent State University Trumbull Campus (also known as Kent State University at Trumbull) began as an Academic Center in 1954 to help overcome the county's shortage of elementary teachers. Located near Warren, Ohio, Trumbull Campus expanded to become a Kent State branch in 1967 and continued to expand through the years. Today, Trumbull Campus offers associate degrees, select baccalaureate degrees, and a master of technology program.


Scope and Content: This collection is made up of materials formerly housed in a vertical file in the Department of Special Collections and Archives. The records are composed mostly of subject files, publications and reports. Many of these materials were created by the Publications Office on the Kent State University main campus.
