Abstract: The collection contains records pertaining to the Kent State University Columbiana County Campus including brochures and admissions materials.


History of Kent State University Columbiana County Campus: In 2009, Kent State University's East Liverpool Campus and Salem Campus merged to become Kent State University Columbiana Campus, with both branches remaining in their respective locations. While both East Liverpool and Salem campuses have rich histories dating back to the 1960s, the creation of Columbiana County Campus serves to administratively connect Kent State University's presence in Columbiana County.


Scope and Content: This collection focuses on materials produced after the merge of the East Liverpool and Salem campuses led to the creation of Columbiana County Campus in 2009. The collection is made up of materials formerly housed in a vertical file in the Department of Special Collections and Archives. The records are composed mostly of brochures and admissions materials produced after 2009. Many of these materials were created by the Publications Office on the Kent State University main campus.


Statement of Arrangement: The records are arranged alphabetically by subject.
