Responsibilities:

Provides leadership and coordinates all aspects of the first year experience program within University Libraries in support of student retention and success; builds relationships with other University units which have similar objectives for the first year experience; develops new approaches to integrate the development of information seeking skills into first year courses; teaches in the various library programs that address the first year student; provides user centered reference service through daily, evening, and weekend desk hours, chat and office hours; responds to individual inquiries.
